Meaning The initial ideas are the first ideas i have about my products and what I'm going to produce it includes the character breakdown and also the rough outline plus the first ideas i have about lighting locations and also equipment
Its important to do this so that i don't just run head first into a project which could cause the project to not actually have any of the foundations needed to create a professional short film

Synopsis
When you are young you are easily influenced by the people you meet this can be in a good way but also in a bad way nd this is the route i will be developing into my movie
The piece is based on a 18 year old boy named dan one day a new kid on his street introduces himself to him and asks to hangout .The story shows you the development of the friendship and also the way it has dark sprial it also shows the growing worry of his parents which then drives him to leave home.
Key Scenes
The film begins with a pan of Dans bedroom followed by waking up and hearing the door bell then going to the door to find a neighbour who has just moved in next door I aim to introduce the antagonist to Dan at eh same time as i introduce him to the audience as it allows the audiences idea of the character to the same as dans. The scene was written to draw the audience in and keep the captivated throughout the film.
The montage scene presents the growth of the friendship. The scenes include clips from the different activities they do together plus the calendar time-lapse this explains to the audience that they have grown an inseparable bond and also shows the passage of time. Secondly the beach scene shows the point when the friendship takes a turn it becomes violent when he pushes dan to the ground This scene gives the audience an idea that he's not a nice kid
Another key scene is the parents in the kitchen scene they have noticed dans cuts and bruises and also noticed the large amounts of time he's spending with this kid and they put the two together that he's a bad influence and decide to tell hime they don't want dan seeing him anymore but dan over hears and storms out the house The scene shows how dan feels about the friendship

The film will be targeted to an age range of 12+. The content contains very little violence and swearing,although there is references to running away,

Lighting- I want the lighting in my advert to be mainly mono chromatic because its a dark film almost black and white
Camera movement- I want my camera movements to be smooth as this is a heart breaking film and i want the audience to empathise with character
Editing- just like my camera movements i want my editing to be smooth and i want to have an effect that shows he's drunk possible go first person fuzzy bumping into things
Setting- the setting of my advert will be on the beach and also in the street but the majority will be in the house
Actors- I only need two actors for this movie and I believe the best person for this ad would be Gareth and hugo this is because he can act and also portray a heart broken man very well

Soundtrack-We seem to always be going backwards
Effects-fade out at the end
